Snowfall warning issued for Inverness County

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Inverness County (Mabou and north).

Areas of the Highlands could experience 15 to 25 cm of snowfall from Monday evening into Tuesday afternoon.

"Strong northwest winds will develop overnight tonight giving poor visibility in blowing snow. Conditions are forecast to improve Tuesday afternoon as the snow ends and winds ease," Environment Canada said in a release.

It added, "Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow."
