Snowfall warning issued for northern parts of Nova Scotia

A snowfall warning has been issued for Guysborough, Richmond, Sydney Metro and Cape Breton and Victoria counties.

Snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm, possibly more, is expected beginning Tuesday evening into Wednesday.

Environment Canada says, "The highest accumulations may occur over Victoria county where snow may linger until Wednesday night. Snow is expected to be wet and heavy in nature as temperatures will remain near freezing.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow."
