Kings District RCMP is investigating a pair of robberies that took place on Dec. 2, 2023, in the Annapolis Valley.

Police say that at 10:16 a.m. officers responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store in Aylesford. A man allegedly entered the store, demanded money, and caused property damage before fleeing the scene.

At 10:44 a.m., officers responded to a second robbery at a pharmacy on Commercial Street in Berwick. A man allegedly fled that location with lottery tickets and cigarettes.

Police say that in both incidents the suspect was a lone male, wearing a black hoodie with white lettering, black jeans, and a black motorcycle helmet with a tinted visor. The suspect left both locations on a black and red motorbike.

According to police, no weapons were seen during the incidents and no injuries were reported.

"The Nova Scotia RCMP’s General Investigation Section, Police Dog Services and Forensic Identification Services attended and processed both robbery scenes. The investigations are ongoing," police said in a release.
