Cape Breton Regional Police is asking for help from the public to identify a person as part of a robbery investigation.

Police say Big Ben's Convenience store, located on Prince Street in Sydney, was robbed on Jan. 7, at around 2:45 a.m.

According to police, a man allegedly entered the store and demanded money while threatening to use a weapon. Police say the man took some money from the register and left in a grey Jeep SUV.

The suspect wore a black jacket with the hood up, grey sweatpants, and white shoes.

Police later located the vehicle, previously reported stolen from a residence in Membertou.
