RCMP investigate a rash of break-ins in Digby County

Meteghan and Digby RCMP are investigating numerous break-ins in Digby County that targeted businesses.

Police say that between Nov. 11 and Nov. 28, 2023, officers responded to 11 reports of break-ins, or attempted break-ins, to businesses in Comeauville, Meteghan Centre, Saulnierville, and Weymouth. Grocery stores and hardware stores were among the targeted businesses. Some of the stores were broken into repeatedly.

All of the break-ins occurred during overnight hours, according to police.
