RCMP obtain warrant for Seabrook man, Kitpu Pikun McDonald, charged with weapons offences

SEABROOK, NS

UPDATE, MARCH 23: Police report that Kitpu Pikun McDonald, 30, who was wanted out of Seabrook on a province-wide arrest warrant has been arrested.


Digby RCMP has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a Seabrook man in relation to weapon offences that took place on March 16, 2023, in Seabrook.

Police say that 30-year-old Kitpu Pikun McDonald is charged with:
• Pointing a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Unauthorized Possession of Restricted Weapon/Ammunition
• Failure to Comply with Prohibition Order (two counts)
• Careless Use of a Firearm
• Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
• Possession of a Firearm Knowing Possession is Unauthorized

Police have made several attempts to locate McDonald and are now asking for help from the public.

McDonald is known to use the alias Kitpu Sylliboy McDonald. Police describe McDonald as 6 feet tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police believe that McDonald may be armed.
