Halifax man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant

HALIFAX, NS

Halifax District RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a Halifax man concerning an alleged incident that happened in Halifax this past September.

Police say that 32-year-old Travis James Terry Laing has been charged with:
• Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance
• Failure to Stop After Accident
• Flight from a Peace Officer
• Failure to Comply with a Release Order

Laing has four other outstanding arrest warrants, according to police.

Laing is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with red hair and green eyes.

Police have made several attempts to locate Laing, but are now seeking help from the public.

In a release, police said, "Anyone who sees Travis James Terry Laing is asked to refrain from approaching him and to call police."
