Halifax police investigate fatal fire on Portland Street

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a fatal fire that took place in the early morning hours of Nov. 2, 2023.
According to police, at around 4:10 a.m., officers along with Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency responded to a structure fire on Portland Street.
Police say a man was found deceased in one of the apartments.
