Halifax Police investigate robbery at Ochterloney Street Esso

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that took place at the Esso gas station at 174 Ochterloney Street in Dartmouth.

Police say that around 8:00 p.m. on April 11, 2023, officers responded to a robbery in progress at the gas station.

"A man entered the store, threatened staff, and demanded money. The suspect fled the area on foot on Prince Albert Road towards Portland Street," police said in a release.

Police describe the suspect as a white man in his thirties, 6 feet tall, and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a grey jacket with a yellow shirt underneath, black jogging pants, a black toque, and white sneakers.
