Halifax Regional Police is investigating a theft from a motor vehicle that happened in Halifax last month.

In a release, police say that on Jan. 31, 2023, at around 3:45 p.m., a man broke into a vehicle in a parking lot in the 3600 block of Barrington Street. The man allegedly stole property and fled the area on foot.

Police describe the suspect as white, in his 20s to 30s, with a slim build, brown hair, and glasses. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a grey and black hat.
