Halifax RCMP searching for a man wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is trying to determine the whereabouts of a man wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant.

Police say 38-year-old Scott Evan Higgins, from the Halifax Regional Municipality, is facing a charge of failure to comply with a court order.

Higgins is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 176 pounds. He has brown eyes and dark brown hair.

Police have made several attempts to locate Higgins and are now asking for assistance from the public.

Police ask anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Higgins to refrain from approaching him and to call police at 902-490-5020.
