RCMP obtain warrant for Cornwallis Park man wanted on domestic violence-related offences

RCMP are seeking a man charged with numerous domestic violence-related offences, the Annapolis District RCMP said in a release.
40-year-old Joel Matthew Gibson, of Cornwallis Park, is charged with the following:
• Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm – Section 264.1(1)(a) CC x2;
• Unlawful Confinement – Section 279(2) CC;
• Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose – Section 88 CC;
• Robbery – Section 344(1)(b) CC;
• Uttering Threats to Property – Section 264.1(1)(b) CC
The incidents are alleged to have taken place between July 16 and August 4.
Gibson is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 195 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police say they have made several attempts to locate Gibson and are now asking for help from the public.
"Anyone who sees Gibson is asked to refrain from approaching him and to call police," the release said.
