Halifax police continue to investigate robbery at Plaza Grocery Rite Stop

Police are continuing to investigate a robbery that occurred in Halifax last month.
On May 15 at approximately 7:20 p.m. police responded to a robbery that occurred at the Plaza Grocery Rite Stop at 1864 Albemarle Street. A man entered the store, told the employee that he had a gun and demanded cash. The man fled the area on foot with a quantity of cigarettes and cash. The employee was not physically injured.
Police are now releasing photos of the suspect. The suspect is described as approximately 5'8" tall, with a medium build and spoke with an Irish accent. He was wearing a black paisley bandana, a black and yellow baseball hat, a brown sweater, jeans and black and white sneakers.
