RCMP investigate suspicious fires in East Preston

RCMP is investigating after two suspicious fires took place at the same address in East Preston.
On July 19, at approximately 2:25 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a structure fire on Lower Partridge River Road. Police, along with Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency, arrived on the scene and found that the garage attached to a home was on fire. The garage was destroyed in the blaze which police believed to be suspicious in nature.
Police and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency responded to the same address the following day, July 20, at approximately 1:50 a.m., to find that, this time, the home was on fire.
No one was injured in the fire but the home was destroyed. The cause of the fires is under investigation.
