Kentville Police charge two men with weapon offences

Kentville Police Service have charged two men with weapons offences following an incident that took place in Kentville on July 1.

Police responded to a report of a stabbing in Oakdene Park. The victim of the stabbing was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was later released.

Two individuals involved in the incident were charged by police with being in possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Police determined that the individuals were not involved in the stabbing.

Kentville Police Service is trying to identify the suspect involved in the stabbing and is asking anyone who may have knowledge of the incident to contact investigators.
