New Glasgow police charge man with multiple offences involving sexual acts

New Glasgow Regional Police say they've charged a 43-year-old Pictou County man with multiple offences related to inappropriate sexual acts.

The Major Crime Unit arrested the male without incident at a New Glasgow apartment complex following a four-month-long investigation.

Charges resulting from the investigation included:
• Uttering threats.
• Extortion
• Voyeurism
• Making Child Pornography
• Obtaining Sexual Services from Consideration from a Person Under 18 Years of Age
• Sexual Exploitation of a Young Person

Police have remanded the man into custody and the Major Crime Unit is continuing the investigation.
