Santa in Margaree 2023

The holiday season is right around the corner and on behalf of the North East Margaree Volunteer Fire Department we would like to invite everyone, young and old, to come out and see Santa Claus make his way “around the river”.  He will start out from the Cranton Crossroads Community Centre at 6pm and head down the West Big Intervale side and make his way around the river.  Come and park somewhere safe!  

The Firemen will be walking along to help Santa collect monetary donations for the CBHECA Lunch program.  What is the lunch program?  The lunch program at CBHECA provides a cafeteria lunch to students without one, for a variety of reasons, no questions asked.  In order to help fund this, the school has had to look to the community for donations.  Lunch can be provided for as little as $5, so every donation is helpful in making sure all our Huskies have full bellies.  This is such a wonderful program and the need is far greater than you would think so if you’d like to do something great this holiday season, please think about donating during this parade. Any cheques can be made payable to the NE Margaree Volunteer Fire Department as we will be writing one total cheque to the school.  If you would like to donate by e-transfer just send us a message and we’ll let you know how to do that!

The Firemen will also be handing out treat bags to all the children!
