Antigonish County RCMP seeking public's assistance in locating missing 78-year-old woman (Update)

UPDATE: The RCMP issued a release saying, "The 78-year-old woman who was reported missing from Havre Boucher on March 29 has been found deceased. The investigation is ongoing, with assistance of the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office."

Antigonish County District RCMP is asking for help from the public in locating 78-year-old Diane LeBlanc who was last seen in Monastery on March 29.

LeBlanc is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. LeBlanc was wearing a black coat and blue jeans when last seen.

Police say LeBlanc has a condition that affects her memory and that she may appear confused.

LeBlanc may be driving a white 2017 Chevrolet Equinox with NS marker GFW 523. The vehicle has black winter rims and a small pink ball on the tip of the rear antenna.
